Drilled left wing skin bottom main and rear spar.

Drilled left wing top skin main and rear spars.

Fitted and installed .032" root left wing skin.

Fitted sheet aft of fuel tank cutout.

Installed bottom skin on ribs, drilled and cleco'ed in place.

Clamped bottom skin in place, traced rib outlines, removed, layout rib holes, and drilled.

Trimmed left wing top skins to bottom spar.

Fitted trimmed and clecoed in place #3 wing skin. Drilled double rivet row in overlap.

Formed nose and drilled left wing skin #3 .025".

Fitted left wing skin #4 .020".

Fitted .020" wing tip skin to left wing.

Painted steel parts for left wing.

Fitted aileron pocket ribs on both wings. This was a pain in the ass. Install the pocket ribs on the work bench before putting the rear spars in the wing fixture.

Installed and aligned strut aileron cable pulleys on both wings.

Install root end flap tube support bearings on both wings.

Fitted aileron pulley at strut on left wing.

Welded flap drive steel parts.

Disassembled false spars, deburred, primed, and riveted.

Fabricated fuel tank strap mounts, drilled and fitted on false spar.

Riveted nose ribs on right wing.

Riveted nose ribs on left wing.
