 Formed trailing edge of elevator. Fitted tubes to leading edge.

 

 Trimmed hinges to length drilled lubrication holes.Laid out elevator plans on table.

 Fabricated horizontal stabilizer and rudder hinges. Drilled hinges to stabilizer.

 Drilled and welded support wire and hinge bushings.

 Welded 2nd horizontal stabilizer.

 Drilled holes for trim drive. Fitted cross brace. Tack welded both sides of stabilizer.

 Fitted ribs to spar tubes.

 

 Drilled light weighting holes in horizontal stabilizer ribs and straighten.

 Started 2nd stabilizer. Bent leading edge tube to shape and cut to length. Cut trailing edge tube to length.

 Welded all joints on first horizontal stabilizer.

 Cleaned and tack welded elevator.

 
Fitted ribs to front and rear tubes. Fabricated trim drive bushings and angled stiffeners.

 Fabricated remaining ribs for first half of stabilizer.

 Fabricated two horizontal stabilizer ribs.

 Cut horizontal stabilizer rib forms on CNC router.
